CHICAGO LITURGISTS SONG SHARE
Are you a church musician in Chicago? You’re invited to the next Chicago Liturgists Song Share on Thursday, April 18th at 9:30am at at Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton (935 W Union Ave). Led by Paul van der Bijl (Covenant Presbyterian), the Chicago Liturgists Song Share is a friendly gathering to share your own original music and songwriting, as well as pieces that have been impactful in your church context. It's also a place to encourage one another and make new connections. You are not required to bring music to participate. But, you are welcome to bring your instrument of choice and play along! If you do bring music, please bring enough copies to share with the whole group. After the Song Share gathering, all are invited to stick around and grab lunch at a nearby restaurant, usually around 12:30.
Questions? Email Paul at pvanderbijl@covenantchicago.org.
ADOPT-A-SCHOOL
Uber is to ride sharing what CarePortal is to care sharing — community-based care sharing!
Looking for ways to engage your church with the broader community? We are recruiting churches to meet the needs of students and families at their neighborhood schools. Schools enter vetted needs, churches get connected to the families to meet the needs, and relationships are formed. Email Brian Dye at brian@thechicagopartnership.org to learn more about participating.

MAKING
JESUS
VISIBLE
On the future of church planting leadership with Daniel Yang and Seminary Now:
"We are seeing a more sober generation emerge into church leadership. I think Gen-Z is seeing all that's happening in culture — both inside and outside of the church — and is longing for leaders and institutions that understand their limitations. They are demanding more authentic systems and structures and have come to expect healthy leadership that's both genuine and trauma-informed, but also kingdom-minded and missional."
